The mission of the House of Flags Museum is to provide a unique tourist destination in North Carolina dedicated to nurturing and promoting patriotism, flag etiquette, and historical understanding of the evolution of our Nation's flag through flag displays and a variety of educational programs and activities for all visitors.
The purpose of the House of Flags Museum is to properly display a unique and comprehensive historical collection of over 300 United States, military, state, and international flags including all 27 full-size official U.S. flags from 1776 to 1960, and to provide educational experiences to elementary school children, high school students, and adults of all ages.

The House of Flags is open at its temporary location on Saturdays from 2-4 p.m (March through November) or by appointment. Donations are accepted.
